About Carson City Tutor
Carson City Tutor (CCT) was started by Jaspreet Gill. Jaspreet provides individualized one-on-one math coaching at CCT and holds a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. Jaspreet is an experienced teacher and she teaches Introductory Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Pre-calculus, and Business Calculus at the Western Nevada College in Carson City. Whether working at UNR Upward Bound, WNC’s Academic Skills Center or at CCT, Jaspreet has tutored hundreds of students of all ages and class levels.
Teaching Style
I use examples and go over several problems in each topic to help students with understanding concepts in mathematics. I focus on problem solving to develop confidence and new mathematical knowledge by building upon students' prior understandings.

Gursharan Gill teaches computer applications and computer science at CCT. Gursharan received his Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Sacramento. Gursharan has over 15 years of industry experience in computer programming, web development, database development, and computer applications. I believe in learning by doing. I will work with you to go over the theory and then apply that theory to see it in action. I will guide my students so they can master the concepts through hands-on practice.
